A dear friend of mine showed me a photograph today and said it was an epic picture. It made me sad. An entire story unfolded in my head around this one photo about technology and change. I thought about how scary change becomes as we grow older. My friend thought the photo represented hope for the future along with lessons from the past. Then we both agreed that the photograph was a truly incredible work of art, because it stirred up such thoughts and emotions. We are both art lovers, but not in the uppity gallery snob kinda way. We love perusing the internet and discovering various forms of art to share, sometimes even discuss.
I found this topic quite fitting for this post, because the decor in this photo is primarily from Fancy Decor. The designer for Fancy Decor is Jake Vordun, who happens to be an avid art lover and has a soft spot for the classics. He’s not closed minded about modern art, though. He shares his finds and loves with anyone willing to explore The Vordun Museum,. There is not cost to explore the gorgeous museum and it is worth return visits as he switches out the exhibits quite regularly.
If art, particularly, various types of art is something you enjoy. I encourage you to do a quick search inworld and you’ll soon discover there is an endless array of art exhibits, as well as artists to discover in this amazing virtual world we call Second Life. That’s also why you’ll almost always find a piece of art accompanying his furniture collections.
