My 80s Look

This past weekend, I left my blogging haven aka my platform, and I went to two parties at Burrow Company! Yep, two!! I was in a great mood and for good reason. There were two 80s themed parties. Okay, the first one was a DJ set by my gorgeous, talented friend, Phen (who also happens to be a blogger). She played songs from 1980 and it was so much fun! The best part is that I was totally ready for Harlow’s big 80s party later that night, so I was able to rock my Madonna look at both parties. (If you clicked Madonna’s name there, you’ll see my inspiration.) I knew other people would do lots of bright colors, but that’s not really how I remember the 80s. So, I wanted to go for one of Madonna’s edgier looks.

I knew I had everything I needed in my inventory and I’m rather proud of how it turned out. I mean, its not an exact replica, but that’s not as fun as using a pic for inspiration, anyway. So, all the details are below and in honor of my friends, Harvey & Harlow Holiday, I’ve added a little song at the end. *grins*

Both parties were a blast and I can’t recommend a better place to hang out to chill, to explore, to take photos, but they also have some pretty epic events (big & small)…so while I’m giving this massive shoutout to Burrow Company, I want to make sure my readers know that there’s a huge Valentine’s Masquerade Ball. Feeding my inner fashion junkie

Brand new goods! That’s right, Stealthic has released a brand new hair at Anthem, clearly inspired by Anya Taylor-Joy‘s character, Beth Harmon, from the recent hit The Queen’s Gambit. I loved the story and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something to binge on Netflix. Naturally, Hunter does not disappoint with a fun new short hairstyle. I am already obsessed with Gambit.

Ahh, but Hunter isn’t the only one feeding my inner fashion junkie. Cynful has designed the Mile High Jumpsuit for the upcoming round of Collabor88 and it is fabulous! Now, anyone that reads me regularly knows that my favorite color for fashion is FATPACK! Plus, I’m a very lucky blogger that’s been on the Cynful team since….*thinks for a minute*…2016! Now, I just won’t say much if I don’t have good things to say, but this jumpsuit? OMG, I’m not going to want to stop talking about it nor will I want to take it off anytime soon. This is truly one of the sexiest things I’ve seen in the grid in quite a while. It’s not super revealing, but there are no curves hidden in this sexy number. The hud comes with an option for flat or high feet, too.
It is a bit tricky finding the right shoes to fit under the perfectly flared, unzipped cut, but I am sure you all can find something. I’ve paired a sleek minimal pair of N-Core’s Elvira Heels with mine. I went with a taupe natural color, cuz let’s face it….in this outfit no one is looking at your shoes. Yet, you don’t want something sticking through the back of the shoe either, so chunky pumps are out!

Learning new tricks!

So, its my 2nd post with the new Fleur head from Lelutka…I’m still messing with the shape a bit as I try on different skins, but over all I’m super happy with the new head. There are so many changes swirling around me at the moment, not just the new head, but letting go of almost all of my decor sponsors was a huge deal for me. For almost five years, I’ve balanced both and blogged for some of my absolute favorite stores. Now, its time for this old dog to learn some new tricks! I’m having a lot of fun playing with different photography styles and angles….lighting, all that good stuff. And I don’t have anything specific to talk about this morning, so I’m just rambling. Not Anymore

I’m having quite a bit of anxiety this morning. My mother and I are supposed to go get our hair cut today, but I’m in a great deal of pain. Plus, I’m so scared of the lackadaisical attitude that so many people have about the virus. The numbers are soaring in our area right now. I honestly don’t feel that she or I would survive given our kidney disease and other health issues. Once upon a time, I would have rushed out into the world hoping to get it and die. Not anymore. I finally want to live and I’m damn sure not ready to die for a freaking hair cut. I don’t want to go and I don’t want her to go either. The only alternative is for me to cut her hair myself and…well, I can trim my own without messing it up too much. I’m just not ready for some stranger to be in my personal bubble. I don’t think I can do it.
