This week has totally gotten away from me. Between being sick and trying to keep up with real life, I’m scrambling today to get all caught up and sorted so I can enjoy a couple of days semi-off over the weekend, before throwing myself right back into the rat race next week. For now, I’m going type up this short excuse for a blog post, show off my latest decor shot, and get this all published so I can focus on the next thing. I really wanted to show off these dogs, cuz first off….hello? Corgis!!! Secondly, look at their lil butts!!! You have to see them in person, cuz they just wiggle and it makes me so happy. You gotta see it. I tried my best to show all the sides, cuz they’re so cute. Ends up looking like Momma is having a meeting…thus the title of this blog which has absolutely nothing to do with what I’m writing, cuz I’m just writing whatever pours out my fingers and not really thinking much about it. LOL! And on that note, I’ll wrap it up and call it done!

It’s all about the shoes, right? I mean, have you ever heard a woman say she’s got too many shoes? No matter if she wear glamour heels or flats or mules…there’s no such thing as too many shoes. So, let this be a warning to anyone that might suggest otherwise. You are WRONG. The more styles they make, the more we need. It’s that simple. Yes, there are a minute amount of exceptions to this rule in the world, but you might want to check their mental status. I wouldn’t trust a woman that doesn’t love shoes! Okay, I don’t trust very many people anyway, but especially women that don’t love shoes!

Wow! It has been quite a week. It has been so crazy! So, I inherited TLC! If you don’t know what that is…uhm, shame on you, but its one of the oldest shopping events on the grid. Anyway, I finally got it open and its an amazing round…of course, only a few things are featured in this post, cuz I took this picture days ago. I was hanging out with some of my favorite people last night and one of them made a comment about “lazy homeless” people. I quickly jumped on the defensive. As I have been homeless on a number of occasions in my 20s and there was nothing lazy about my situation. Of course, I encountered loads of other homeless people during those times. I had to explain that while there are some people that simply don’t want to be responsible members of society. However, the bulk of the homeless people I encountered were anything but lazy. As being homeless is not an easy way to live. People that live in shelters must abide by an excess of rules put in place to keep things as orderly as possible. There are curfews and requirements one must continuously make to continue their stay and many shelters have limitations on how long people can reside there. I don’t have specific numbers, but I’d dare say that the majority of homeless people have not chosen that lifestyle as their preferred method of existence. Plus there are far more living without shelter. That is NOT an easy way to live. Its beyond dangerous. Once a person is homeless, it is safe to say that getting back on your feet is ridiculously hard. As I pointed out to my friend, what is the first thing you do the morning of a job interview? Shower, right? If you have no home, you have no shower and probably don’t have much in the way of a clean nice outfit to wear. Anyway, the point is, don’t be so quick to judge people in situations you can’t begin to understand. Turns out that one of the other people there had also experienced homelessness and was glad that I spoke up. Meanwhile, our uninformed friend was enlightened and apologized. I didn’t find the apology necessary, but it was appreciated. I was especially glad that we were all able to have such a beautiful conversation about life without hate or disgust. I won’t name them, because too many private matters were discussed and only my part of the story is mine to tell. I suspect they might read this and because they might I want to give them to know something. I love you and I’m so grateful for your friendship. I look forward to getting to know you even better in the years to come. ♥

I was hanging out with my amazing friends, Maria & Jason, when I got my hands on these gorgeous new sphynx cats from Rezz Room. I was squealing with delight, because…well…CATS! Jason started laughing and then predicted that I would be doing a post with a lot of cats. Started calling me the cat lady. So, in order to prove him wrong, I limited myself to only three. See? I have some self control, Jason! *laughs*
I am so very blessed to have these two amazing people in my life. So, I want to make sure they know how much I appreciate them both. ♥
