Alright, so I just got my Treasure Chest, the theme for March is The Royal Treatment, featuring exclusive designs from twelve designers. I don’t do video blogging so I’m just going to write as I open. Maybe one day I’ll tackle the whole vlogging concept, but I really really hate my voice…soooo, its not likely. You just gotta read..*nods*…so here we go…
Wow, so I was wrong in my previous post about the eyes being from Oxide, they’re from Adoness. This is an extensive set of eyes, all the system eyes are included as well as some sculpt prims for regular and full bright eyes, along with a HUD that offers 20 color choices and you can even color each eye differently. This is a huge plus for a lot of people and an option that I adore. I don’t use it much, but I do like having the option.
Oh how I love thee, Cubic Cherry. I’ll be using the “crowns” along with the orbs from last month. These are fantastic! While called a crown, as it does have a band around the head, I’m going to refer to these are horns, because that’s what really pops…these are luscious!
Faida has provided us with a lovely wine colored role play gown. While not my normal style by a long shot, I have to say they’ve managed to pull off a suede texture on this dress that’s very very well done.
We’ve got some rather large, ornate earrings from austris, along with a notecard that simply says, “We apologize, this is the smallest size of earrings, and it works correctly only in statistic poses, not with ao. :(” This made me tilt my head a bit, but I had to put them on to see…Honestly? They work fine with my AO. Yes, they dip into my shoulders at times, because I have a squirmy AO and the earrings are large, but its not that noticeable. These are really pretty. They come with a HUD that allows you three metal options for three parts of the earrings. I like these…while yes, most likely they’ll be used in photos more than anywhere else…they’re very nice.
Abstract Soul has given us the scepter that no proper royal would be without. There are two versions included…animated and non-animated. The animated simply poses you arm so that you can hold the scepter up. While I do wish it had come with some color options, I have to say…this is cute. I’m already thinking of ways to use this.
Straight away, I love the packaging for Fallen Gods…I might even use that in a picture..*laughs*..I realize that’s not supposed to matter, but this is cute! Okay, but inside is Omega appliers for heads and bodies, there’s even a slink nails applier. The skin/tattoo layers are called Gold Royale and its going to give you avatar the midas touch. Okay, that was my first thought anyway.
While Oxide did not deliver eyes, they did deliver a magnificent Mer Crown…YES! I called the mermaid thing! This is super cute and will go quite nicely with a mermaid tail! This is really pretty. Comes with a HUD that allows you some rather extensive pastel color options and with this crown I shall rule the oceans!
The Half Moon Market brings us a very odd looking helmet thing with knives protruding from it. There are two versions…Best Served Cold (clean) and Vengeance Taken (bloody) along with Princely Pie which is what I’m going to assume is a cake or pie made from the prince? There’s blood, so I that’s why I assume that…it could be berries. *laughs* I do so love bloody things in my inventory!
Oh my goodness!! Unrepentant brought the frog!!! Two versions..one to hold, one to rez and this little frog prince is freaking adorable!! I love him sooo much!!!
Ok, moving right along…Stitched delivers the Chayle Cape complete with HUD. While this is not fitted or sized for mesh bodies…as I stand here wearing absolutely nothing but the XXS-NX sized cape, I think this might just go well over other clothing. I will point out two things, there’s a HUD that allows you to color this cape to just about any color you want and there are some unrigged buttons included. The buttons are not working out for me as they float around and do not line up with the cape which is rigged.
Ersch has gone above and beyond with a gorgeous cage. So many options! There’s two you can hold, one with a pose, one without. There’s two to rez, one for decor for sitting with three sitting poses and one much bigger one for decor. There are two HUDs and this is going to be fun to play with. I can use this in photos and decor! I love this!
Last but not least, Rowanwood really shines with the Sovereign Born Royal Chaise and Oil Lamp. This is a lovely piece of furniture and will go very nicely with any royal decor.
