It’s safe to say that I’m a true crime junkie. I have been since I was a kid. I would buy those magazines that had true crime stories long before there were things like podcasts and internet. One thing that has always bewildered me are those people that have this mentality of “if I can have them, no one can.” Especially the ones that kill themselves after they kill the person they’re obsessing over. I mean, I get that they’re not in their right mind, cuz murder. But what sense does that make? If you really love someone, why would you want to end their life? Cuz they hurt you? Are you going to kill everyone that hurts you? I cannot wrap my mind around it! I guess it’s fairly obvious that this mindset is not about love at all. It’s self centered and selfish on a whole new level. There’s a whole lot of things I don’t understand, but I am starting to understand that the more I learn about the human race, the less I like people. And trust? Nah, I don’t think I completely trust anyone, but this isn’t news. Anyone that knows me or thinks they know me, can tell you that while I seem pretty open…I’m actually pretty closed off. Go figure.

I want to say right up front that I am not an official Lelutka Blogger, so all the heads I have purchased myself, with the exception of two that were bought for me, by my beautiful sisters, Kess and Sassy. However, like many people on the grid I will use whatever resources I can to acquire things as quickly as possible. Thus, I acquired the new Gaia head and played with it straight away. To my immediate surprise, I discovered that this head came with THREE sets of ears. There’s the basic human ears that are already attached to the head. There are the standard elf ears that have become a fixture with the new Evo X line. However, the big surprise was that there was fox ears, too!!! WHAT?!?!? Now, I love me some cats and I am quite feline in nature. However, I rarely go full out neko anymore. These ears are quite tempting, but at my age…well, I just feel like they are a bit costumey for me. Yes, I made up a word. With that said, I have seen soooo many girls wearing these and they are sooo damn cute!! I’m not even sure that this head’s base features work for my personal look and preferences, but this head is definitely a game changer. If you are looking for a new look, something that isn’t quite like everyone else…I recommend that you at least demo this adorable new head. Play with it and experiment with different skins, cuz we all know that a skin can change everything. For instance, I’m wearing the new Sora skin from Glam Affair in this photo, but when I tried on some other skins it was a completely new look from this one. This also inspired me to go have a look at the Lelutka store for which heads I don’t own. What I discovered (yes, I’m slow) is that they have updated quite a few of their previous heads to Evo X. So, the next time you see me, I’ll be wearing Erin Evo X and it will look a lot more like Sady than this one. The moral of the story is…if this isn’t the head for you, try looking at some of the updated heads. You just don’t know what you might find until you try it out. This is the cheapest plastic surgery on the planet, so why not play with it and have some fun!?!?

There’s a lot of hype around the grid about Halloween, but understandably, not everyone is into it. Not every country celebrates it. That’s okay. There’s plenty of fashion to go around. Besides a lot of the Halloween stuff is just goth clothes in the spot light for a month. So, its great for your inner goth or even for those that don’t have one. Just grab a different color. It’s Fall, afterall. It’s a great time to scoop up those warm earthtones and super cute jackets. This adorable set from Seniha is so perfect for the season, wear the lil dress during the day while its still warm out, then toss on this badass lil leather jacket for the evening, right? I’ve been soo crazy busy lately that I’m just now getting around to blogging this adorable set from Hideki that you can grab at TLC for a few more days. It closes on the 10th, after that you’ll have to check his mainstore. This set is so cute and even my photo doesn’t do it justice. However, I couldn’t help but want to make a man cave that the girl took over….so here it is with lots of pink pieces from one of Bamse’s new sets to be found at the October round of Arcade. What better way to enjoy this room than relaxing in a comfy shirt from Vinyl, paired with some super cute sweats? A girl can watch just about any scary movie with her trusted pup beside her, right? And thanks to some pieces from Kraftwork’s new set (also at the Arcade), I was able to set the tone of horror movie night. So, I’m all about horror films in October…and honestly, I’m so obsessed with this scene, I just wanna crawl directly into it and cozy up for the night.

Alright, I’m sure you’ve heard the hype about the newest body to hit the grid, REBORN by eBODY. I have been a diehard Legacy girl since I finally switched from Maitreya, about two years ago. I have also kept my shape on the petite size for many years. However, this new body has me seriously rethinking things. This body is fierce! And DAT ASS! I kid you not, the ass on this body is serious business. I’d personally like to make it a bit smaller, but this is as small as I could get it. While I’m not showing the back view (which is delicious), its fair to say the side view of this ass is just as important. It jutts out a teensy bit more than I’d like it to. However, its got me rethinking my entire shape as I look at my avatar from behind and seriously want to bite into my own ass! The skin I’m wearing works pretty well, but detailed places like feet, hands, nips and such, aren’t quite lined up properly cuz they weren’t made for this body. There’s not a ton of creators on board just yet, but some pretty big names have already starting creating clothes for it…such as Blueberry (shown here), Vinyl, Miss Chelsea, Vanilla Bae, Aleutia, and more….a great way to keep up is in this flickr group someone shared on FB: eBODY Reborn Shopping Guide Stay tuned, cuz I will be sharing more clothing on this body and I’m sure my shape will evolve as I continue to play with it.

Ever since I was a little girl, dragonflies have brought me comfort. I remember my friends were terrified by them. Their name alone does seem a bit ominous. However, I was always fascinated by them. Their beautiful quad wings and the iridescent sheen of their bodies almost hypnotized me. Of course, I also thought they were related to fairies. *laughs* The thing is that no matter how bad things were in my life, the moment I saw a dragonfly I felt like God was telling me that everything was going to be alright. While I no longer believe in God, I do very much believe that everything is going to be alright whenever I’m surprised by a dragonfly…whether a real one or not. To this day, they continue to bring me comfort. It’s probably the only insect to ever bring me comfort…lol.
