Bringing Ideas to Fruition

I think the vibe I was going for in this picture will be fairly obvious to Supernatural fans. At least, I hope so. I’m so far behind in that series. I’m still stuck somewhere in Season 9. I can’t believe that show has lasted so long. I’m glad for everyone involved and for the fans, but damn. That’s a long running series for some demon hunters. It’s a pretty cool show and I recommend it to anyone stuck in quarantine. I kinda doubt you’ll manage to binge all the episodes in one sitting. LOL
I’m partial to Dean, his taste in music, and definitely his car. Most people I know prefer Sam, which I just do not understand, but that’s cool. Less people between Dean and me. *grins*
Once again, this is one of the many things I adore about photography in Second Life. You can create your own personal scenes to somewhat place yourself in the story line of your favorite shows and/or movies….or even bring a scene to life from a book. Wherever you draw your inspiration from, this is the perfect outlet for bringing these ideas to fruition.

Let’s root for each other and watch each other grow.

I have yet to understand why so many people want to tear each other down. Life is not a competition, no one gets out alive and nothing we acquire in this life is going with us when we leave. So, why would anyone make it their mission to seek and destroy others? What is there to gain in doing that? I mean, I know misery loves company, but why would anyone want to embrace that misery by sharing it with others or causing it? There’s nothing good to gain from that…absolutely nothing. The only thing I can imagine that allows people to behave like this is that they lack that part of the human psyche that most of us possess…that part that seeks happiness for ourselves, as well as other people. When someone lacks that empathy and compassion, they are left with a giant hole. That hole is what religious people like to call evil, but I don’t believe in evil. I believe that people are innately good….unless they are missing that inner light. They are lacking goodness. They might fake it….cuz that’s what sociopaths often do, but deep down…they just don’t have it in them be truly good. I cannot truly imagine what that must be like, but it sounds absolutely horrible. Sadly, its the only thing that makes sense to me as to why people truly want to tear one another down. I would much rather see us all root for each other and watch each other grow.

My sister, Kess Crystal, opened her winter sim today. It might seem a tad early to some, but in plenty of places around the world…the snow has been on the ground for a while. This sim is absolutely gorgeous and I highly encourage you to check it out. There’s actually activities on the sim, as well. Learning new tricks!

So, its my 2nd post with the new Fleur head from Lelutka…I’m still messing with the shape a bit as I try on different skins, but over all I’m super happy with the new head. There are so many changes swirling around me at the moment, not just the new head, but letting go of almost all of my decor sponsors was a huge deal for me. For almost five years, I’ve balanced both and blogged for some of my absolute favorite stores. Now, its time for this old dog to learn some new tricks! I’m having a lot of fun playing with different photography styles and angles….lighting, all that good stuff. And I don’t have anything specific to talk about this morning, so I’m just rambling. I probably should have done a song, instead. Oh well….it is what it is and it ain’t what it ain’t..lol.

Last Official Decor Post

I recently wrote about cutting back on decor blogging and I’ve made the decision to make that official. I can’t say that I will never do another decor post, but honestly, its more likely that I will use decor to create a scene for a fashion post. I’ll always credit any decor in my posts, because I’ve been the one looking at other blogs trying to figure out where they got something in the background.

All the collections presented in this post are incredible gacha collections. What I like about all four of these collections is that you can use any of the pieces to enhance decor. So, its not all about getting that rare, ya know? And if you’re anything like me and love love love boho styles, all of these collections work perfectly with boho themes. I hope I did these designers justice with my final official decor post. It’s a bittersweet moment, but its the right thing for me to do.

my lil butt is staying put

I have to believe this has been the craziest year of most people’s lives. I can only imagine what else 2020 will bring for the second half of the year. I’m pretty sure whatever it is will leave us scratching our heads in wonder. One thing is for sure, more than ever before I do not want to leave my house. I know a lot of people are feeling cooped up and are itching to get out the door and do anything…just to get out of the house. For me, it hasn’t been that big of a deal. I didn’t want to leave the house before the virus. Now? Nah, my ass is staying right here. I’m not even trying to get out there to do anything. I am perfectly content staying in my comfortable little condo with my pets and my mother. We have everything we need and when we do need something, there are people out there to deliver it. This works for me. Yep, my lil butt is staying put.

Puddin looked at her with curiosity as they strolled along the abandoned streets. The poor pup couldn’t understand what had happened to all the people that used to greet her with smiles, cutesy little words she didn’t understand, and all the petting.
