Have you ever met someone that is so full of negative opinions about everyone, but themselves? I recently met such a person in Second Life. I know its not the first time I’ve met someone like him, but its been a really long time. Even then, I’m not sure I’ve met someone to this extreme. He seemed like a nice enough person in the beginning. Though I have to wonder why he was where he was when we met, considering his opinion of the owners and those that make the place their second home. This man genuinely seems to believe that he KNOWS things that are nothing more than opinions. He has opinions about the U.S. and the U.K. that are surprising considering that he’s from Australia.
Most Australians I have met have been super nice and just like anyone else. There’s good and bad, but never met someone so displeased with the rest of the world as this guy. He makes wild assumptions and then insists they are facts, even when told that he’s mistaken. Apparently, he doesn’t find himself capable of mistakes.
Why haven’t I blocked him and deleted him? Well, come on now. Would you expect me not to have a little fun with this fellow? Since he’s so prone to negative assumptions, I really do enjoy throwing him tidbits of information and watching him make a complete ass of himself. I’m not sure what his goal is, but I do so enjoy the show. *grins*

The other day, a friend of mine said hello via IMs. No big deal, right? Okay, I should also probably add that he’s not a friend friend, he’s more like a friend of a friend. Seemingly nice guy that I don’t really have an issue with. However, something strange happened after he said hello that day. He offered me a hug which was nice…I accepted, but afterwards, he patted my ass. *sighs*

I forgave him and moved on about my day. Unfortunately, I can’t stop thinking about it. I had a guy hit on me via Facebook recently who had a rather unusual approach. I assumed he was being creepy and asked him to not be that guy. He responded quite defensively and suggested that I was asking for creeps to approach me, because of the sexy photos I post. Now, I know that’s bullshit. I don’t care what kind of pictures I post. No one deserves to be spoken with anything less than respect. Here’s the thing though, people use Second Life as an excuse, but honestly…would these same men approach a Playboy model or porn star by smacking them on the ass or grabbing at them? I’m sure they get an array of bullshit online like we do. However, I need people out there to understand that just because the POTUS grabs women by the pussy and gets away with it, doesn’t mean everyone else will!

Once upon a time, Sady adopted the most wonderful young woman as her daughter in Second Life. This beautiful young lady was very quick to point out all the adult toy boxes that Sady was putting in her photos. As people in a world that seems to revolve a great deal around social media, I think it’s important that we choose our words carefully. I’ve seen it so many good people virtually destroyed because of a rant on social media. We’ve all seen it. Then there are those that go back and forth, arguing with one another on a very public social forum. Even more reckless are those that jump into those arguments not really knowing the entire story. We must be careful jumping on these bandwagons, because we really don’t know who is watching. Nor do we know what their perception of the situation is. I think its important that we take a step back and ask ourselves if its really important. Is the rant worth a public audience? Does this argument really need to take place and if so, is it truly necessary that it occurs in public? Do we know the facts of both sides? Have we asked any questions or are we surfing straight into a tsunami? They lied to us when we were kids…they told us that words can never hurt us. As adults, we all know better. So, please, take care when participating in this social media dramas.

Alright, so this has absolutely nothing to do with the picture. Its just one of those weird things that crossed my mind earlier. I was thinking about how they made soap in Fight Club. Ya know, using the fat that had been sucked out of fat people at the liposuction clinics? I suppose you could say my mind wandered a bit far and went into some pretty dark territories, because I thought about how humans might one day be farmed for the use of their body fat. It certainly would give a whole new meaning to fat farms.
I mean, the U.S.A. is well known for its overweight population. We are a very spoiled, young nation. Our government has made no qualms about showing how little they actually care about the 99% of us that are not filthy rich. Regardless of who is in the White House, the poor in this country are treated quite badly. So, its not so far removed to think that our civilization could turn on some apocalyptic dime…turn so far in desperate times that the poor are no longer useful as consumers or workers, but simply for our bodies. The obese farmed for their fat, while those more fit might be used for something equally sinister. I have imagined all sorts of scenarios. Amusement for the rich, like they do in the Purge movies. Sex trafficking…well, that’s as old as time. Perhaps they’ll develop leather from our skin and jewelry from our bones. Its not impossible to imagine as ancient civilizations have done just that. Well, let’s hope that none of that happens outside the imaginations of writers and actors.

I think I’ve written about my knee replacements in the past. Honestly, I’m not sure. So, there you have it, both of my knees have been replaced. So, there’s plastic and metal in both my knees now. No, I haven’t set off any metal detectors as of yet, but I do have a card for each knee to carry with me in the event that I do. With that said, I was thinking to myself the other day, “I wonder if they have considered using recycled plastic or metal for these parts.” I’m going to guess they don’t, but can you imagine? I mean, the way we’re tapping the resources of our planet as if she’s going to provide for us for eternity….it might be some day that replaceable body parts are made from recyclables. Then when we die, they reclaim those parts to recycle again! Jussayin! It could happen! I’m pretty sure my grandmother would never have dreamed of the day that people were having sex with robots, but that day is here!
So, my futuristic look is rather complex and I wanted to make sure you got a good view of it all….so there’s more photos than normal, but I’m not that hard to look at….am I?
