It’s all about the shoes, right? I mean, have you ever heard a woman say she’s got too many shoes? No matter if she wear glamour heels or flats or mules…there’s no such thing as too many shoes. So, let this be a warning to anyone that might suggest otherwise. You are WRONG. The more styles they make, the more we need. It’s that simple. I wanted to do a family day at the beach kind of photo, but with fur babies instead of kids. I mean, I don’t have any kids in RL and the one I have in SL….well, if I took him to the beach, he’d run around naked and his ginger (though quite handsome) ass would get sunburned from head to toe! So, fur babies it is! I even included a video of an adorable puppy at the beach. One of the things this photo extra special for me is that it features some of the new releases you can find at the current round of TLC which opened two days ago. I’m so excited about this round. It really has a little bit of everything. I swear each one is getting better and better, so prepare yourselves, cuz I’ll be sharing as many of the gorgeous creations as I possibly can! Another reason this photo is special, is because it also features a couple of items from Evolve. So, I know what you’re thinking…”What? Another freaking event?” Well, hold on a minute, this is not an event you fight your way into, while standing around waiting for everything rez as more avatars pour in on top of you, bumping you (which doesn’t hurt, so stop whining)…etc etc. NO. This is a mainstore event. You will start at Seraphim, grab the HUD and proceed to be whisked away on a magic carpet…ok, ok, its just a tp, calm down. You’ll be magically transported (better? GAWD!) to one mainstore after another. Each store will have a brand new release created just for the event, PLUS….you can look around at that creator’s other delightful designs. You can join store groups and grab great gifts. This is more than a shopping event…THIS is a shopping adventure! All in all, this post contains a lot of things I’m involved in professionally. Since I’m the assistant blog manager for Tableau Vivant, Glam Affair, and now Evolve…annddd, I’m the owner of TLC. Not to mention that I consider several of the designers featured to be dear friends of mine. I am so blessed to have such talented people in my life. I wonder if I piled them all up and rolled around naked on them some of their talent would rub off on me? *grins*
I think the vibe I was going for in this picture will be fairly obvious to Supernatural fans. At least, I hope so. I’m so far behind in that series. I’m still stuck somewhere in Season 9. I can’t believe that show has lasted so long. I’m glad for everyone involved and for the fans, but damn. That’s a long running series for some demon hunters. It’s a pretty cool show and I recommend it to anyone stuck in quarantine. I kinda doubt you’ll manage to binge all the episodes in one sitting. LOL I’m partial to Dean, his taste in music, and definitely his car. Most people I know prefer Sam, which I just do not understand, but that’s cool. Less people between Dean and me. *grins* Once again, this is one of the many things I adore about photography in Second Life. You can create your own personal scenes to somewhat place yourself in the story line of your favorite shows and/or movies….or even bring a scene to life from a book. Wherever you draw your inspiration from, this is the perfect outlet for bringing these ideas to fruition.
