Now, don’t go getting confused. I do not speak Spanish, but I’ll proudly admit that I love the language and I love the food. Well, to be fair, I’m not sure I love authentic Spanish or Mexican food, but I do love tacos and whatever texmex they used to sever at my all time favorite Mexican restaurant, El Palacio. They closed in 2017 and I literally cried. It’s funny to think that we get so attached to places, but I know it was more than a place. It held memories from various times in my life. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was festive, and the times I spent there will never be forgotten.
