Crazy Weather

My friend, Adalynne, responded to my Challenge to Challenge post. She suggested snowflakes and rainbows. My first response was, “You hate me!” I haven’t been into rainbows since I was a child and they are generally associated with unicorns. I’ve never liked unicorns…ever. I thought about it for a moment then I realized she was merely referring to the weather in Alabama. You see, she lives about 30 minutes away from me and we experience the same weather. If the weather man so much as suggests snow, the stores are evacuated of all their bread, milk, and eggs. For the life of me, I can’t figure out why everyone wants to make french toast when they think there’s a snowstorm coming, but that’s what happens. What’s even funnier is that it rarely does snow and when it does it melts by noon…that’s when we get the rainbow. Thus, snowflakes and rainbows is a perfect way to describe Alabama weather. In your face, AdyCakes! *giggles*
